Nelthilta is a young doe from Efrafa who is no more than three months old. She was born in Efrara in the Near Hind.

She is spirited, silly and rebellious but not especially smart and can't be trusted to keep secrets. She is being influenced by Hyzenthlay to become resentful of Efrafa. It excites her to let everyone see that she’s a friend of rabbits who are thought of as rebels.
When she thinks she's going to escape with Bigwig's group, she can't resist dropping hints by taunting Captain Chervil. She is soon arrested and forced to confess to the Council, nearly ruining the whole plan.
Miniseries[]
In the Netflix series she is replaced by Nettle, a spy who informs Captain Orchis of the does' plans. After being discovered by Hyzenthlay, she is used to trick the Efrafans into believing that an escape will occur as far away from the real place as possible. When the does escape, Hyzenthlay runs by her, and she claims to be sorry, saying Orchis would have hurt the does if she refused. Hyzenthlay runs off, leaving her behind.
